Dynamic Charging Platform

Charge it Dynamic Charging Platform (DCP) offers high performance, real-time, bi-directional management of service requests between the network, service and application layers. Specifically, DCP :

Controls multiple, simultaneous user sessions
Reserves, monitors and updates pre-paid balance credits using the built-in balance manager, or through integration with third party balance managers.
Calculates pricing using the advanced built-in rating engine or through integration with third party rating engines or billing systems
Provides user authorisation and authentication for service access
Provides optional capabilities in the areas of Customer Care, Self Care, Billing and Voucher Management

The core of DCP is the Charging Support Framework, which provides real-time Active Mediation functionality. Various other optional functional capabilities may be added to the platform such as Rating, Balance Management, Customer Care, Self Care, Billing and Voucher Management.

Charge it Service Controller and DCP together provide a unique, integrated "on the network" charging and control solution. In addition, DCP has the ability to work with 3rd party network elements other than the Charge it Service Controller, such as external probes, GGSN's, SIP servers, etc…
